The ABLL Board is happy to announce that this year’s Winter party will be held, December 2nd, 5:30-8:30, at one of Boston’s famed old mansions…”The Hampshire House” on Beacon Hill.

The evening will feature Florentine bruschetta and a local sustainable cheese display as well as a variety of delicious hors d’oeuvres, holiday cookies and brownies, and beverages. Come and mingle with old friends and make new ones.

The Hampshire House is a turn-of-the-century mansion built in 1910 for Bayard and Ruth Thayer by architect Ogden Codman. The building got its name from the English county during World War II when the Thayer family sold it to owners of a luxury hotel. The five-story Georgian revival building boasts Italian marble, carved oak paneling, Palladian windows, crystal chandeliers, and looks out over the beautiful Boston Public Gardens…And, of course, the “Original” Bar from the famed Cheers.

This get-together at this historical mansion, where ABLL has held events in the past, has been made possible with contributions from Thomson Reuters. We are delighted to return to the venue!

Address: 84 Beacon Street, (617) 227-9605, 5:30-8:30.
