Bio
"Kimberly Sweet is a senior research librarian at Ropes & Gray, conducting research and reference work there since 1988. A graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Boston, Kim’s undergraduate studies were chiefly in African, Middle Eastern, and British studies. At UMass, she also did a guided research project on intelligence successes and failures in history. She received an M.S. in Library and Information Science from Simmons College. Kim was a combat intelligence analyst in the U.S. Army Reserve, training at Fort Bragg, NC with members of the 82d Airborne, and the Special Forces. During her military service, Kim also conducted a short course on Soviet weapons for elements of the 101st Airborne. Kim also worked as a civilian employee of the Department of the Army. At Ropes & Gray, Kim has done research on a wide variety of subjects and using multiple resources to include Accurint, Bloomberg, Capital IQ, CCH IntelliConnect and Cheetah, Deal Pipeline, Docket Navigator, ethiXbase, Debtwire, Dialog, File & ServeXpress, CourtLink, Knowledge Mosaic, Lexis Advance, LexisNexis, PACER, RIA Checkpoint, West km, Westlaw, and others." Kim received the 2013 ACE Award at Ropes & Gray, and formerly served as a Director-at-Large on the ABLL Board.
