NERAC
http://www.nerac.com/

This is a wonderful website that I have used many times, especially when I could not locate a particular article or even a chapter of a book elsewhere. They specialize in scientific and technical articles but also cover other subjects. You must purchase a membership but it entitles you to numerous services. They will search for you at no extra charge and you can put a cap on what you are willing to spend for a document.

Linda Hall Library

They describe themselves as the “world’s largest independent library of science, engineering and technology.” Literature searches are available as well as prompt (24 hour or less) document delivery service.

These links were compiled by Linda Howey, Information Resource Specialist in the Hartford office of Day Pitney LLP. They were posted in February 2007.
